Walmart Chile, previously named Distribución y Servicio (D&S), is a Chilean company that operates several supermarkets, including Líder, Express de Lider, Ekono, SuperBodega aCuenta and Central Mayorista. Since 2009, the main controller is Wal-Mart Stores, Inc., which own 99.93% of stocks as of March 2014.〔(Company financial results )〕 == History == In December 2008, Walmart Stores reached an agreement with the controlling group to acquire a majority stake (75%) in the company, which was then known as D&S.
